KOMPAS.com - website video sharing YouTube to pay 100,000 pounds (about USD 1.4 billion) into a family to upload some video footage to YouTube. Currently, funny videos of the family has become the talk of many people and became very popular on YouTube.
Videos that are uploaded are actually only a family's private collection, its contents ranging from a baby named "Charlie" who was laughing or crying, until Charlie's finger biting his brother, "Harry". However, the videos have been watched by millions of people. In fact, there is one video, titled "Charlie bit my finger-again ! " that have been viewed more than 387 million times.
YouTube has been in talks with parents of Charlie and Harry, they have agreed to share revenue from ads that appear in these videos.
YouTube has always monitor all the videos that are uploaded to the server they are. When there are indications that the video would be popular, YouTube will immediately contact the owner of the video and offer cooperation "for the" ad.
Currently, YouTube is developing algorithms that can automatically detect videos that became a hit on the internet.
Ads that appear on the page or embedded in the video can generate a large revenue stream, these are then divided into the owner's YouTube video.
